Your new roleFast-paced business who have pivoted in their focus in recent times seek to appoint a technically astute Controller with excellent leadership skills. You will be responsible for the month-end close process ensuring accuracy in the numbers in line with regulatory requirements. You will be focused on process improvement to ensure that the finance function continues to evolve towards a culture of best practice. You will take ownership of all statutory obligations, tax requirements and ad-hoc projects which ensures that the business mitigates against any areas of risk. You will lead a team ensuring the financial transactions are managed in a timely manner whilst providing coaching and mentorship which fosters collaboration across the wider finance community. What you'll need to succeedYou will be a qualified accountant with strong technical reporting skills in line with FRS 102 and IFRS. You will demonstrate excellent leadership skills and will thrive in a fast-paced environment and appreciate in a matrix environment the need to be accurate and in line with corporate reporting deadlines.
