Our client, a leading, innovative and forward-thinking media company are looking for a SeniorEditorin both a strategic andhands-on delivery roleworking on asuccessful, established and growing international B2B brand.Youwillbe the public face of your brandin a sector that you live and breathe, responsible fordeveloping and delivering the multi-platform content strategy to drive new subscribers and growth and increase engagement and retention with new readers; as well ascuratingquality contentacrossmultiple channels (print, digital, multimedia)and playing a pivotal role in the development and delivery of events.As aBrand Ambassadoryou will be theexternal face of the brand when networkingat events andbuilding strategic industry relationships. Part of yourrole will also see you responsible forline managing an Editorial Assistant, supporting their growth and development, and managing the workload of sub-editors.
As Senior Editorfor this exciting global brand you will get the opportunity to:
* Commission and deliver brand content across all channelsfor the brand, including website, email, print, video, podcast, webinars, and events
* Devise content and editorial strategy(taking part in brand meetings),curating and managing a calendarof live brand activities and the annual content calendar across print, digital and live content products
* Develop and manage a programme of live activities including roundtables, networking events and conferences
* Utilise yourability to build strong relationships to collaboratively work effectively with internal sales events and marketing teams
* Act as abrand ambassador developing key relationships externallywithindustry expertsthroughembedding yourself within the industry,as well asattending events
* Forward plan each year's print issues considering market trends
* Lead, manage and develop your team, ensuring best practice
I am very interested in speaking with an experienced SeniorEditor, Editor,orManaging Editorwho has experiencedelivering and managing a content strategy across multiple print and digital channelswithin aB2B publishingenvironment, with a track record of content being a vehicle to drive new subscribers and revenue growth, as well as improved reader engagement. Experience in people management, including mentoring, developing and recruiting team members is essential, along with delivering content within (and living and breathing) thepharmaceutical / life sciences sectoris essential as well.
Salary£50,000 - £60,000 p.a. (depending on the level of experience) plus bonus opportunity.
