Overview
Yorkshire Ambulance Services (YAS) NHS Trust invites applications for a Mobile Premise Cleaner. 37.5 hours per week, based at Northallerton Ambulance Station. Driving license is essential. Shift: Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 15:00. Working days and times may vary to meet the needs of a 24/7 emergency service. Allocation of bank holidays is required.
Responsibilities
* Undertake cleaning and related tasks to meet high cleanliness standards across assigned sites, including entrances/foyers, washrooms, kitchens, canteens, gym, showers, training rooms, corridors, stairs, lifts, offices, contact centres, storerooms, dirty utility rooms, crew rooms, external areas, and other areas as required.
* Ensure all activities follow Trust Cleaning Protocols, procedures, and daily work schedules; maintain and achieve required cleanliness standards.
* Maintain adequate stocks of cleaning materials and record daily activities; respond to urgent spillages and perform deep cleaning as needed.
* Be flexible with ad-hoc changes to scheduled work and potential cover at alternative locations within the shift due to site support needs and the emergency service provision.
* Plan essential tasks effectively to complete them within limited time restraints and communicate with senior staff.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Full Driving License is essential.

* Successful candidate will undertake a very basic 12–15 minute Physical Capability Assessment.
