The Housing Strategy, Policy and Data Officer role is the beating heart of our housing governance and assurance function. You will provide essential, hands-on support to the Housing Leadership team, ensuring the smooth operation of our Housing governance arrangements and core processes. This role is a fantastic opportunity to gain deep exposure to the inner workings of a high-performing and purpose-driven social housing provider and develop a robust career in housing, governance, and compliance. You will be a key advisor to our senior officers, responsible for fostering a culture of trust and resilience, and ensuring we are always ready for what's next. You will day to day develop, write and review documents and work with colleagues to ensure key deadlines are met. Whilst ensuring that compliance documents and housing records are maintained and kept up to date. Working arrangements will be typically Monday to Friday working from our officers in Ipswich. Educated to a minimum of A level with experience of / or having a specific housing qualification is advantageous. Knowledge and understanding of housing, related issues and national housing policy is essential along with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing at all levels, including external organisations. Hours of work are 37 per week, Monday to Friday. This is a hybrid working role (a minimum of one day per week working in the office).
