Sports Development Officer Start date: 1 st September 2025 Hours: 8:30 – 3:30 Location: Bridgend, Wales Pay: £13.75 per hour We work in partnership with a school located in Bridgend. The school are actively looking to appoint an individual to promote sports and health within a school setting. This will work alongside supporting them in their Individual Education Plan (IEP) to reinforce a positive attitude towards Education as a whole. In one part of the school they tailor their education for individuals with Special Educational Needs (SEN) such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). In the other parts of the school, it will be working with young people with Social, Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) which can then display challenging behaviour through frustrations. The role is definitely one which requires someone which is resilient and has a true passion for helping young people flourish in their day to day and ensuring they have a great foundation to build on their independence in their future years. Sport and health is such an important part of being able to provide this foundation, therefore we are looking for an individual passionate about making a difference to promote health and wellbeing within the school.
