We are recruiting for a full-time, permanent Health Records Clerk to be based in our Health Records Clerk Department in Bronglais General Hospital, Aberystwyth.
For this role, previous experience in a record keeping role is not required, as on the job training will be provided. You will predominately begin your training in our Filing Library and then be exposed to other duties within the department.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will cover a range of duties including;
* Filing and retrieving of patient records, locating, and providing patient records for all outpatient appointments, planned admissions and day case attendances.
* Preparation of patient records for outpatient/inpatient attendances
* Operation of a computerised patients administration system, including inputting and retrieval of data
* Dealing with telephone queries
* Scanning of patient records to support the Medical Examiners Service.
