WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Take operational leadership and budget responsibility for managing a safe and efficient operation to help achieve operational standards and the customer(s).
* Analyse and understand health and safety related risks for our associates, take action to reduce or eliminate these risks according to a prioritized plan
* Take responsibility for managing and running a safe operation and driving a Safety First Culture with all individuals in the operation by applying and improving the Safety Standards
* Driving continuous improvement quarter-on-quarter based on removing barriers to improved performance for the department where necessary
* Leverage Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) program as a daily way to confirm behaviors and processes
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
* Have strong operational knowledge of logistics and warehousing
* IT Literate with Microsoft Office Packages
* Previous automotive customer experience would be an advantage
* Have a strategic mindset and a passion for problem-solving.
* You're a natural leader with excellent communication skills, able to inspire and engage your team
