Overview
As a Groundworks Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day site activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification. You will play a key role in coordinating teams and maintaining progress on site.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervising groundworks operations on site
* Managing operatives, subcontractors, and plant
* Ensuring all work complies with health & safety regulations
* Monitoring daily progress and reporting to the Project Manager
* Reading and interpreting drawings and site plans
* Maintaining quality control and resolving on‑site issues
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Groundworks Supervisor or Foreman
* Strong knowledge of groundworks and civil engineering projects
* SSSTS or SMSTS qualification preferred
* CSCS card required
* Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively
* Proactive and solution‑focused approach
