An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Clerk/Receptionist to join our team within the Outpatient department Neath Port Talbot Hospital.
The successful candidate will provide administrative/reception support to facilitate the smooth, efficient and effective running of outpatient clinics, greeting patients, attending and appointing appointments on WPAS, handling of patient notes and tracking of notes on IFIT, accurate data entry on WPAS and delivering notes to secretaries
We are looking for an individual with good clinical interpersonal and communication skills, who is willing and able to adapt to change and to work individually within their level of competence.
Main duties of the job
The post requires provision of administrative/reception support to facilitate the smooth, efficient and effective running of outpatient clinics, greeting patients, attending and appointing appointments on WPAS, handling of patient notes and tracking of notes on IFIT, accurate data entry on WPAS and delivering notes to secretaries.
The role involves greeting patients, receive and process referrals into the service and ensure that they are recorded on the CANISC system.
Current experience of working in a fast-paced busy reception environment is desirable.
