We have an exciting role on offer within our Public Health Service as a Age Friendly Middlesbrough Project Coordinator.
About Us
Public Health South Tees are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible person to Join the Age Friendly Team, to Co-ordinate project activities that contribute to supporting older people to Age Well in Middlesbrough.
The project coordinator will facilitate campaigns, activities and events aimed at connecting older people to their communities and improving health and wellbeing outcomes, as well as facilitating an established age friendly volunteer ambassadors programme and identifying new volunteers.
You will have excellent organisational skills and you must be able to work independently and as part of the team. You must have excellent communication skills and some project management experience to be able to carry out this role, as well as report writing and the ability to gather, manage and analyse accurate information.
You must be able to also build effective relationships with external partners. You will need to have a good understanding of the needs barriers and difficulties faced by older people in Middlesbrough.
A clean and current driving license is also essential for this role.
Please note, this is a 2 year fixed term contract, working 37 hours a week - Job Share opportunity is available.
