Overview
Resource Planner role at The Forum, based in Cheadle (South Manchester). This is a 12 month fixed term contract. You will be joining during an exciting companywide transformation programme and will focus on day-to-day forecasting, scheduling and real-time planning for capacity/resource over the next 12 months.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain planning tools, techniques and procedures.
* Support the team with short, medium and long-term plans, focusing on supply and demand drivers.
* Analyze supply and demand components, provide insightful commentary, and track recommendations.
* Identify daily, weekly, and monthly resource requirements; monitor plan versus actual; undertake re-planning with key stakeholders.
* Carry out root cause analysis to improve planning accuracy and implement improvements.
* Provide impact assessments and advice on business/readiness changes and capacity creation enablers/projects.
* Support decisions on optimal use of resources, efficiency enablers and leakage opportunities.
* Design and deliver actionable performance management information (MI).
* Support, coach and develop less experienced colleagues to ensure planning models and practices are accurate and effective.
Qualifications
Essential
* Excellent understanding of resource planning methodologies and service level dynamics.
* Advanced Excel knowledge.
* Good working knowledge of M365 and PowerPoint.
* Strong ability to disseminate large amounts of information and translate into detailed plans with insightful commentary.
* Ability to design and develop high-visibility reports.
* Commitment to quality, delivery and continuous improvement.
Desirable
* Experience with Back Office resource planning technologies such as Verint Operations Manager is advantageous.
* Coaching and teamwork skills to support transformation functions across the organisation.
