Are you a Quality Lead Inspector looking for a hands-on, senior role?
We are working with a well-established engineering company to recruit a Quality Lead Inspector. This role has become available due to retirement and offers the chance to take full ownership of quality processes across the business.
You will be responsible for:
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to ensure product compliance
* Leading audits and maintaining ISO standards across the company
* Managing and resolving quality issues while implementing preventive measures
* Ensuring quality in hot work environments such as press, forge, or foundry operations
* Working closely with production teams to maintain high-quality standards
* Using IT systems effectively to record, monitor, and report quality data
This role requires someone with a strong character who can influence teams, drive improvements, and maintain high standards. You’ll be hands-on where needed but also confident in IT and reporting responsibilities.
About You
* Proven experience in quality inspection and auditing
* Strong knowledge of ISO standards and experience maintaining compliance
* Skilled in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Hands-on approach with strong IT literacy
* Excellent communication skills with the confidence to tackle quality issues proactively
Salary & Package
Salary: £34,000 – £45,000
