Hours: Monday – Friday | 08:30 – 17:00
About the Role
At Panda, our finance team plays a critical role in keeping the business running efficiently and supporting decision-making across the organisation.
As an Accounts Assistant, you will be a key part of our Transactional Finance team, helping to ensure financial data is accurate, processes run smoothly, and reporting deadlines are met. You’ll gain exposure across multiple areas of finance, working closely with Management Accountants and supporting core month-end activities.

What You’ll Be Doing
Financial Processing & Reconciliations
Manage daily cashbook postings and perform bank reconciliations
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
Carry out balance sheet reconciliations and ensure all files are audit-readyInvoicing & Transactions
Prepare and issue ad hoc sales invoices
Support the smooth processing of financial transactions across the businessMonth-End & Reporting Support
Assist Management Accountants with the preparation of monthly management accounts
Maintain key finance schedules including prepayments and lease files
Support with data requests and finance-related queries from across the businessContinuous Support
Contribute to improving processes and maintaining accurate financial data
Take on additional tasks as you develop within the roleWhat We’re Looking For
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a finance or accounts role (or relevant qualification/study)
Strong Excel skills and confidence using Microsoft Office
Basic understanding of financial processes and reconciliations
Experience with Workday is beneficial but not essentialPersonal Attributes
A proactive, “can-do” attitude with a willingness to learn
Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
