Accounts Assistant Alexandria, Loch Lomond £12.40 - £13.80 per hour Temporary (3 months, with potential to become permanent) Are you a bright and enthusiastic Finance Assistant or a recent Finance graduate looking for your next opportunity? I'm recruiting on behalf of our client for an Accounts Assistant to join a friendly, down-to-earth finance team based in a vibrant office near the stunning Loch Lomond. This is an initial 3-month temporary contract to support a busy period - but there's real potential for it to become permanent. Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 (35 hours per week) What you'll be doing: * Processing invoices accurately and efficiently, matching to purchase orders and resolving discrepancies * Reconciling bank, supplier, and customer accounts to ensure clean audit trails * Performing cash ups and credit card reconciliations * Entering financial data into systems with accuracy and attention to detail * Handling accounts payable and assisting with payment runs * Managing finance inboxes, responding to queries and chasing as needed * Assisting the Financial Controller with regular reporting and flagging any issues * Carrying out general administrative and ad hoc office tasks as required What we're looking for: * Strong written and numerical skills * Ability to organise and prioritise workload independently * Confident with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) * At least 1 year's experience in a finance role or relevant finance qualifications This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of a collaborative, upbeat team and wants to feel genuinely valued at work.
