About the Role
We are delighted to be working with an Outstanding-rated mixed school in Barnet to recruit a Computing Teacher. This full-time, permanent position comes with a TLR, offering the opportunity to teach Computing and Computer Science up to KS5 while also taking on leadership responsibilities within the department.

Responsibilities
• Teach Computing and Computer Science across KS3, KS4, and KS5, using modern programming languages
• Take on additional leadership responsibilities (TLR role) within the Computing department
• Inspire students to develop problem-solving and computational thinking skills
• Provide structured learning pathways for GCSE and A-Level Computing
• Lead or contribute to coding clubs, AI projects, and tech competitions
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related subject
• PGCE or QTS
• Experience teaching Computing up to KS5
• Experience in a leadership role or readiness to take on TLR responsibilities
