Our client is a forward-thinking and well respected accountancy firm where your professional growth is encouraged and your contributions truly matter. Our client is seeking an Accounts & Audit Senior to become a key part of their team, based at their prestigious and modern offices situated near to Kettering. This is a varied position with a 60/40 split between accounts and audit work. You'll work with a wide range of clients from small owner-managed businesses to medium-sized groups with turnovers up to £55 million.
Please note that this is an office-based role with flexibility for hybrid or remote working in agreed cases.

2. Working hours 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (½ hour lunch)

Duties and responsibilities:
6. Prepare year-end accounts and corporation tax computations for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
7. Liaise directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries
8. Prepare VAT returns and management accounts
9. Lead audits from planning through to completion
10. Supervise and review the work of junior team members on audit assignments
11. Provide training and mentoring to junior staff
Skills and experience required:
12. Solid practice experience across audit, accounts, tax, and compliance
13. ACA or ACCA qualification (or part-qualified with a willingness to complete-study support available)
14. Confidence to lead audit assignments independently
15. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset and be confident speaking to clients face to face, over the telephone, and by email
16. A proactive, flexible approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks
17. A full driving licence to complete audits at clients premises
