In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the secure and efficient destruction and shredding of materials, all while upholding our company's high standards and strict deadlines.
The Role
As a Shredding site Team Leader, you'll be at the heart of our Shredding centre’s daily operations. This position has responsibility for ensuring operational excellence in line with the SOP’s whilst maximizing the productivity of the operations Shredding team in delivering and exceeding client expectations. This includes assisting and consistently meeting deadlines while adhering to all company guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
* Execute inbound destruction and shredding tasks precisely as per SOPs.
* Ensure all correct security arrangements are always in place.
* Ensure that the daily safety check is completed for all areas.
* Ensure compliance with appropriate OSHA regulations and all accidents and injuries are properly reported.
* Organise loads and collections from site.
* Ensure all Record Centre team members complete and reconcile their daily activity report.
* Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on all Destruction Centre equipment.
* Set schedules, including vacations for all team members based at our Cottage Farm Shredding Plant, updating as necessary to maintain optimum effectiveness.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring floors are free of debris and reporting any necessary repairs (flooring, lighting) to the RC Supervisor or Territory Operations Manager.
* Actively assist with the loading and unloading of trucks and vans.
* Maintain high levels of productivity to consistently achieve set targets.
* Strictly comply with all relevant data protection legislation to safeguard sensitive client and team member information.
* Adhere to all company policies and complete all mandatory training modules.
* Promptly report any potential or actual security, environmental, or health and safety incidents to your line manager and/or the OASIS Compliance team.

* Physically capable of performing tasks such as overhead reaching, routine pushing and pulling of boxes and pallet trucks, bending, and stretching.
* Highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
* Able to work effectively under time-sensitive deadlines.
* Committed to working in line with all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
* Comfortable working in a small, busy team within a fast-paced environment.
* Punctual and capable of working effectively on your own initiative.
