Hours: 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday (Flexible)
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Sewing Machinist to join our client's production team in Coventry. This role involves working large scale prints and polyester fabrics using industrial sewing machines. If you have a keen eye for detail and take pride in producing high-quality, durable products, we'd love to hear from you.
Duties:
. Operate a small industrial sewing machine.
. Stitching a silicone line onto the material ready for showcasing the product.
. Read and interpret technical instructions, patterns, and work orders.
. Ensure all items meet high standards of precision, quality, and durability.
. Carry out alterations, reinforcements, and repairs as required.
. Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
. Minimum 2 years' experience as a sewing machinist.
. Proficiency with industrial sewing machines.
. Experience working with heavy-duty fabrics.
. Reliable transport to commute to site.
. Must be flexible with working hours due to industry needs.
