The role
As a Electrician, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary.
Day to day, you'll work within a Hard Facilities Management setting. You will be dealing with the provision of planned and reactive electrical maintenance to electrical systems and equipment across the RSME at Chatham, in support of the company's contractual and statutory obligations, helping to ensure a safe and cost-effective working environment.
* Provide expert diagnosis of electrical faults
* Plan implement and co-ordinate repairs
* Work in collaboration with maintenance service colleagues.
This role is full time at 40 hours per week and will be based on site at Brompton Barracks, Chatham,
Essential experience of the Electrician:
* Proven experience in similar working environment as well as experience in producing and evaluating Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
* Computer literate in Microsoft Office packages (minimum Word & Excel)
Qualifications for the Electrician:
* City & Guilds Electrical Installation 2391 and latest edition wiring regulations qualification (BS7671)
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent (including Maths & English).
* Hold a current CSCS / ECS card or equivalent.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS and SC security clearance for this role.
