We are proudly part of Japan Post — www.tollgroup.com OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB SVP Sales & Marketing – EMEA is responsible for overseeing the entire Global Forwarding – EMEA sales organisation and driving long-term strategic sales objectives for the Global Forwarding business unit. Ensures business growth through determining, directing and managing business development activities in accordance with the organizational strategy across different sales channels. Ensure the effective achievement of business development functional objectives through the leadership of the division, by setting clear objectives in order to maximize individual, Country, divisional and departmental performance. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement sales strategy in line with Global Forwarding – EMEA and linked to global sales and commercial strategic objectives to optimize the company’s capabilities & resources by attracting new opportunities and retaining current customers. Mentor and functional leadership for Country Sales Managers and Direct Leadership to Regional Sales Resources (strategic sales, inside sales, regional tender management and implementation and sales support) Establish, communicate and implement a regional sales plans to generate profit while meeting the overall sales budget for the organization Lead company's planning and execution of strategies to increase sales and company growth by securing regional and global strategic customers. Deliver top line and volume growth while maintaining desired profitability goals Communicate with global teams in developing and growing existing clients and targeting new ones. Collaborate with other sales divisions, tender management and solutions teams to acquire new business and expand current business. Close collaboration and key stakeholders including regional and global product leads, country managers and regional CEOS to drive a collaborative sales approach Maintain key customer relationships, develop and implement strategies to strengthen existing business. Drive, deliver, and exceed KPI’s regarding sales force effectiveness Work with Operations Teams to implement designed programs to existing clients. Overall responsibility for key customer contracts and pricing quotes Oversee the formation of business partnerships and negotiation of contracts. Initiate, manage or support and close large business deals spanning multiple years. Oversee commercial account management Own and manage your own client portfolio. Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing. Take full accountability for hitting and exceeding targets. Operate with full accountability for your portfolio’s performance. Drive growth through upselling and cross-selling.
