Job Description
C9 Recruitment are currently seeking PCV / Coach Drivers on a full time basis for our client located in Southampton.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate the vehicle in a safe manner, adhering to local road restrictions and speed limits. Any fines or tickets received must be reported to the office as soon as possible.
* Ensure mandatory vehicle checks are undertaken every time the vehicle is used to a standard acceptable on the road. Any defects to be reported to the office
* Ensure that all passengers and wheelchair users are secured correctly in the appropriate location using the necessary safety equipment.
* Ensure that the vehicle in use has adequate fuel for the journey, refuelling as and when required or instructed.
* Ensure that the vehicle is cleaned inside and out on a regular basis
* Ensure that the vehicle is parked in the depot correctly, in pre allocated bays where possible.
* Operate the passenger lift and other equipment used to assist passengers whilst entering and exiting the vehicle safely.
* Communicate with passengers and clients in a patient, informative manner.
Coach Driver Summary:
* Working Monday - Sunday
* Working hours - Average 45+ per week
* Immediate starts available
* Adhoc shifts available
* Paid sign on to sign off
Umbrella Rates:
Standard ratesWeekday: £21.91 per hourWeekend: £23.24 per hourBank Holiday: £23.90 per hour
Adhoc ratesWeekday: £22.58 per hourWeekend: £23.90 per hourBank Holiday: £24.57 per hour
PAYE Rates:Standard rates:Weekday: £16.50 per hourWeekend: £17.50 per hourBank Holiday: £18.00 per hour
Adhoc rates:Weekday: £17.00 per hourWeekend: £18.00 per hourBank Holiday: £18.50 per hour
Coach Driver Candidate Requirements:
* Two years' PCV driving experience
* Category D Driving Licence
* Valid CPC card
* No more than 6 points (NO DRs, CDs, or TT99s)
* Digital tachograph card with knowledge of tachograph & drivers regulations.
* Excellent customer service skills - friendly, polite and respectful
* Smart, professional appearance
* Standard DBS required
* Minimum age 21 ( For insurance purposes)
