Logistics Operative – Biggleswade
A vacancy has arisen within our Logistics department based in Biggleswade for a Logistics Operative. The role contributes to the success of Liebherr-Great Britain by actively supporting the logistics team to deliver outstanding customer service and efficient, profitable operations while working within the company’s key result areas: Business Performance, Customer Focus, People and Teamwork.
Overview
This is a full-time position in the Logistics Department based in Biggleswade. You will work as part of a team to ensure timely and accurate processing of orders and efficient logistics operations.
Responsibilities
* Loading/unloading consignments and machinery
* Counterbalance, VNA and HLOP forklift operations
* Vehicle marshalling across site
* Slinging/Signalling
* Accurate picking and processing of customer orders using warehouse ERP system
* Stock replenishment
* Stock checking
* Take responsibility for self-development and continually identify ways of improving skills and abilities
* Take the initiative to provide suggestions and contribute to the improvement of Logistics Operations by proposing new ideas
* General housekeeping
* Any other duty as required by management commensurate with the post
