Urgent Hiring! Disability Assessor - Southampton
Hybrid role (home and office based) for Disability Assessors. Typical schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm. No weekends, no nights.
Responsibilities
* Conduct structured assessments (telephone and face-to-face)
* Review medical evidence and assess daily living impact
* Produce detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
* Make objective recommendations based on evidence
* This is an assessment-focused role — no prescribing, no treatment plans, and no shift pressures
Training
* 12-week paid training covering assessment techniques, DWP guidelines, and report writing
* You will be fully supported before working independently

* Registered Adult Nurses (NMC)
* Occupational Therapists (HCPC)
* Physiotherapists (HCPC)
* Paramedics (HCPC) (PIP Only)
* Pharmacists (GPhC) (PIP Only)
Qualifications
* Minimum 1-year post-registration experience in an adult setting
* At least 1-year active registration
* Strong communication and report writing skills
* Confident IT and typing skills
* Sponsorship is not available
