Job Summary Pemberton Surgery is a forward‑thinking training practice serving approximately 10,400 patients in Wigan, Greater Manchester. We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic four‑session salaried GP to join our supportive and well‑established team.

Salary: £10,000–£10,500 a session (negotiable depending on experience)
Contract: Fixed term, 12 months
Working pattern: Part‑time, flexible

Responsibilities
Deliver routine and urgent GP care
Assess, diagnose and manage patients appropriately
Maintain accurate clinical records
Work closely with the multidisciplinary team
Support safe prescribing and clinical governance
Provide high quality, patient‑centered GP consultations
Manage clinical caseload supported by triage systems
Contribute to practice team ways of working
Work collaboratively within the wider multidisciplinary team
Qualifications
Essential:
Proof of medical degree
Full GMC registration
National Performers List
Proof of CCT certification or equivalent
Experience of continued professional development
Experience in primary care
Desirable
Experience in a GP practice
Knowledge and Skills
Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
Strong IT skills
Clear, polite telephone manner
Flexible and cooperative
Motivated, forward thinker
High levels of integrity and loyalty
Ability to work under pressure / in stressful situations
Punctual and committed to supporting the team effort
Additional Information Disclosure and Barring Service Check is required under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
