£45,000 - £50,000 + Commission (£15k-£20k OTE) + BMW Company Car + Benefits
39-hour week – Full‑time, permanent role – Monday to Thursday 8 am–5 pm, Friday 8 am–1:30 pm (some flexibility)

Your background as a Sales Engineer
* Suitable for a Sales Engineer, Applications Engineer, or a Project Engineer who enjoys a bit of sales / wants to pivot.
* Commercially minded individual with a background in engineering, preferably within the same industry or similar (industrial equipment / dust extraction / filtration etc).
* Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) qualification such as P601 & P602 preferred.
* Comfortable working in a consultative, solution‑led sales environment.
* Confident engaging with customers on‑site and understanding technical requirements.
* Strong communication skills with a practical, hands‑on approach.
* Full UK driving licence (ideally no points).
Sales Engineer responsibilities
* Manage predominantly inbound and warm sales enquiries (minimal cold calling).
* Work closely with customers to understand requirements and convert enquiries into orders.
* Visit customer sites to survey, measure and specify engineered solutions.
* Liaise with internal engineering and service teams to deliver the right solution.
This Sales Engineer role will mainly cover the Midlands / Southwest / possibly parts of Wales. The offices are based in Leicester, so we are ideally looking for someone based in Loughborough, Hinckley, Market Harborough, Melton Mowbray, Coalville, Burton upon Trent, Leicestershire, Derbyshire and surrounding areas.
