We are now holding interviews for qualified English teachers to teach at our primary schools in the vibrant city of Nanjing. Our students are aged from 6 to 12 years old and we warmly welcome teachers who thrive on inspiring young English learners to join our energetic, creative team. If you are a dynamic teacher, have an interest in an authentic Chinese public school setting and can deliver learner centered, engaging lessons then we are interested in speaking with you.
We offer a combination of the highest educational standards and our classes encourage children to explore, participate and cooperate in a caring and supportive teaching environment. Teachers will be teaching a maximum of 12 hours per week from Monday to Friday with weekends off. Class size ranges from 20 to 30 students. You will make use of a variety of engaging teaching materials and methods including group work, music, activities, performances and much more.

Teach English in Nanjing
Located on the south bank of the Yangtze River, Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province, is one of the most delightful destinations in China. Known as the capital city of six or ten dynasties in ancient Chinese history, it has a brilliant cultural heritage.
Like most major cities in China, Nanjing is developing rapidly. Great changes have taken place in the city. Modern highways and railways connect the city with most major cities throughout the country and it is becoming a sparkling metropolis akin to Shanghai and Beijing with skyscrapers, luxury hotels, fashion shopping malls, supermarkets and highly-developed economic zones throughout the city. Transport in the city is very convenient with 10 metro lines in addition to taxis, Ubers, public buses, tourist special lines and other means of transport.
Main Responsibilities
-Maximum of 12 teaching hours per week
-Monday to Friday schedule with weekends off
-Student age: 6 to 12
-Class size: 30 to 40
-Plan and implement lessons that are developmentally appropriate
-Participate in parent meetings, training opportunities, and other staff meetings
-Perform additional duties as assigned by the principal
Compensation
-Excellent monthly salary: 15,000 to 18,000 RMB depending on qualifications & experience

Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree or above required
-TEFL / CELTA / teaching license certificate (No TEFL? We recommend INTESOL )
-Previous teaching experience with primary school students
-Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland & South Africa
-Cultural sensitivity, awareness, and willingness to explore other cultures
