Site Operations Manager
* This is a full-time role, 48 hours per week, 5 days over 7 days with a salary of up to £39,936pa.

The Site Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing both delivery and warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective processes. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team. You will be a key contact to both our customers and partners.
With the customer at the heart of all we do, you will ensure that exceptional customer service is delivered at every stage.
Heavy lifting, handling and carrying of products is part of this role as you will be required to support loading vehicles as and when needed.
About the role:
We work in partnership with a well-known global furniture brand retailer and are looking for people who are confident in dealing with customers and who prefer an active role
As the leader of the Site Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the administration and operational needs of the site are met.
You will report directly to the Area Operations Manager with a team of nearly 20 members of staff made up of drivers, porters, and office staff. Your direct reports will provide day to day supervision of the wider site team, but you will lead the site team; motivating and developing them to achieve.
The role will support the Area Operations Manager to achieve our KPI targets and business goals.
About You:
* Common sense and a can do attitude
* A high level of personal integrity, who displays respect and empathy for others and is consistent, open and honest
* Experience within the logistics sector or similar
* Experience of People Management and leadership skills
* Experience of planning routes (HDX, Paragon or similar)
* Good level of IT proficiency
* Proactive approach to problem solving
* Reasonable knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices
* Exceptional Customer Service skills.
* Good time management
* Excellent communication skills
A driving licence is not required for this role but if you do have one, then we may, when needed require you to drive on behalf of the business. So we will need you to submit or share a Driving Licence Check. Interviews will be conducted by the Area Operations Manager, and will include general questions about your experience, some competency and scenario questions and time with your potential new team.
