This role will suit a Workday-centric HR Technology leader with
programme delivery
(owning multi-workstream HRIS roadmaps, governance, budgets, vendors, risk) and
functional HR expertise
(deep understanding of core WorkDay modules: HR, talent, learning, comp, analytics).
Translate people strategy into scalable system design, drive adoption and data quality across Workday/adjacent platforms (Cornerstone, Gloat), and embed AI/automation to simplify processes and lift user experience and run multi-million-pound HR tech initiatives (e.g. global Workday rollout, new modules, migration, upgrades) and manage programme governance, timelines, budgets, vendors, and risks
This is a hands-on, outcome-driven role partnering directly with CHRO leadership to deliver measurable value across the enterprise.
ROLE PROFILE:
* Leading the portfolio of HR technology solutions, with particular responsibility for
Workday
optimisation, configuration, and integration with enterprise systems.
* Driving adoption of complementary platforms (e.g.
Cornerstone
for learning,
Gloat
for internal mobility, and other talent tools).
* Ensuring high-quality, reliable data is at the heart of HR decision-making.
* Embedding AI, automation, and analytics into HR processes to improve usability and efficiency.
* Partnering with HR leadership to align technology priorities with broader people strategy and organisational goals.
* Building and leading a high-performing team to deliver programmes and continuous improvement.
* Managing vendor relationships, contracts, and cost optimisation.
* Engaging senior stakeholders across HR, Technology, and the wider business to secure buy-in and deliver outcomes.
IDEAL PROFILE
* Significant leadership experience in HR technology within a complex, international organisation.
* Proven track record of
Workday functional and programme leadership
(core HR, talent, learning, compensation, analytics).
* Strong knowledge of HR processes and operating models.
* Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale technology portfolios and deliver transformation programmes.
* Experience with
Cornerstone, Gloat
or similar HR platforms.
* Proven skills in data integration, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
* Familiarity with AI, automation, and HR analytics tools.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder-influencing ability.
