Job Overview

The Senior Recruitment Consultant – Non-Clinical is responsible for leading the recruitment of non-clinical professionals within the healthcare, administrative, and operational sectors. This includes roles such as medical receptionists, administrators, HR officers, finance staff, facilities personnel, and contact centre agents. You will manage high-volume recruitment assignments and client accounts while mentoring junior consultants and ensuring timely, compliant, and high-quality placements.

This role is ideal for a commercially driven and process-savvy recruiter with a proven track record in fast-paced non-clinical environments.

Responsibilities

Oversee the end-to-end recruitment cycle for temporary, contract, and permanent non-clinical roles.
Manage key client accounts, building long-term relationships and acting as a trusted advisor.
Mentor and support junior recruiters, sharing best practices and helping manage workload prioritisation.
Develop and maintain talent pipelines through CV databases, job boards, social media, and networking.
Qualify candidate suitability, conduct interviews, and prepare shortlisted profiles with detailed summaries.
Work closely with hiring managers to define job requirements, SLAs, and timelines.
Negotiate offers, contracts, and terms with both candidates and clients.
Ensure compliance with company and client policies, including Right to Work, references, and background checks.
Maintain up-to-date records on ATS and CRM systems.
Lead on recruitment campaigns and sector-specific projects as needed.
Represent the organisation at job fairs, recruitment drives, and industry networking events.

Requirements

Minimum 3+ years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on non-clinical or administrative roles.
Proven success in 360° recruitment and account management.
Strong knowledge of non-clinical functions within healthcare, education, public sector, or support services.
Excellent organisational, time management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to close roles quickly and compliantly.
Proficiency in using ATS, CRM platforms, and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, CV-Library, Reed, etc.).
Demonstrated ability to work to targets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative and leadership-oriented approach to supporting team members.
Degree in Business, HR, Management, or related field preferred.
