A respected Yorkshire law firm is looking to recruit a Legal Secretary to support a busy Wills & Probate Partner in their Cleckheaton office. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive and established team, providing essential secretarial and administrative assistance.
The Role:
1. Audio and copy typing of legal documents, letters and forms
2. Preparing and formatting correspondence and legal paperwork
3. Managing diaries, arranging appointments and liaising with clients
4. Handling incoming calls and enquiries in a professional manner
5. File management including opening/closing files and ensuring compliance procedures are followed
6. General secretarial and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the department
Requirements:
7. Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Wills & Probate (other areas considered)
8. Fast and accurate typing skills with good attention to detail
9. Excellent organisational and time management skills
10. Professional communication and client care abilities
11. Proficient IT skills and experience using case management systems
