An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a market‑leading business operating at the forefront ofmercial decarbonisation and off-site modular delivery across the UK & Ireland.
This is a senior leadership role within a well‑invested Offsite Modular / Decarbonisation division, overseeing the delivery ofplex mechanical‑led MEP solutions manufactured in Northern Ireland and delivered across multiple sectors including public,mercial, and infrastructure projects.
The role would suit an experienced MEP Operations Manager or Senior Contracts Manager with a strong mechanical background, ideally from the modular MEP, energy, ormercial building services space.
Your new role
As M&E Operations Manager, you will have full ownership of the operational delivery of the Offsite Modular function, with responsibility for mechanical, electrical, BMS, and off-site assembly teams, including subcontracted labour. You will play a key role in scaling the business sustainably, improving manufacturing efficiency, refining processes, and ensuring high‑quality delivery in line with programme andmercial requirements.
1. Lead and develop the Offsite Modular operations team to deliver against current and future workload
2. Provide operational input into design, engineering, planning, and quality to improve delivery efficiency
3. Recruit, manage, and develop mechanical‑led MEP teams (direct and subcontract) to support growth
4. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high quality standard
5. Forecast workload and resource requirements, implementing KPIs and reporting structures
6. Establish and refine assembly processes, procedures, and standardised work instructions
7. Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing, assembly, and logistics
8. Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste, downtime, and handling
9. Liaise with wider business units in weekly project and operations meetings
10. Mentor, coach, and upskill supervisors, operatives, and planners
11. Champion a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
What you'll need to succeed
12. Proven experience in an MEP Operations Manager or Senior Contracts Manager role
13. Strong mechanical bias, with exposure to electrical/BMS within an MEP environment
14. Background in offsite modular, MEP, energy centres, or largemercial M&E projects
15. Track record managing multi‑disciplinary teams andplex delivery programmes
16. Strong people management, recruitment, and leadership capability
17. Excellentmunication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
18. Confident working with KPIs, production metrics, and continuous improvement data
19. Full UK driving licence
