Nursery Practitioner (Level 2) Hourly Rate: £14.63 Location: Burnley Job Type: Part-time, Term Time Only Working Hours: 08:30 - 12:30, Monday - Friday Start Date: ASAP We are seeking a dedicated Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join a nurturing team in Burnley. This role involves working with a nurture group of SEND children, providing specialised care and support. The ideal candidate will have experience in special educational needs (SEN) and a passion for early childhood development. Day-to-day of the role: Provide tailored support and care to a group of SEND children within the nursery setting. Implement engaging and educational activities that cater to the specific needs of SEND children. Collaborate with other nursery staff to plan and coordinate daily activities and routines. Monitor and record the progress and development of children, adapting activities to meet their individual needs. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all children. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about their children's development and daily activities. Required Skills & Qualifications: Level 2 qualification in Childcare or equivalent. Proven experience working with SEND children in a nursery or similar setting. Strong understanding of the needs and care requirements of SEND children. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
