Registered Manager – Children’s Home (EBD)
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Salary: £62,500–£72,500 (including bonus and revenue share)

A well-established children’s home in Sheffield, operated by West Valley Home, is seeking an experienced and values-driven Registered Manager to lead its Ofsted-registered EBD service. Following a successful registration in May 2024 and a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating in early 2025, the home is now focused on achieving ‘Outstanding’ and expanding its impact across the region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, maintaining high care standards, and driving strategic growth in line with regulatory requirements and organisational values. The role involves leadership of a multidisciplinary care team, safeguarding oversight, budget management, and direct involvement in future expansion plans.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of the home’s operations in line with Ofsted regulations
* Lead and develop a high-performing residential care team
* Ensure personalised, therapeutic care for each young person
* Uphold safeguarding standards and maintain compliance across all areas
* Contribute to financial planning, referrals, and business development
Essential Criteria:
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
* Minimum two years’ experience in residential child care, including one year in a supervisory role
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and children’s care regulations
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
