You will work collaboratively within the Triton Product Team to design and develop solutions for New Product Development and Continuous Improvement.

As the UK’s market and brand leader in showers, Triton continues to grow and is therefore looking for a Design Engineer to join the Product Development Team at our Nuneaton offices.
This position requires an enthusiastic individual who is adaptable and has a passion for innovative design and mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities
* Design and develop sustainable products, parts and solutions that meet the needs of Triton, our customers and the environment.
* Carry out validation testing and development of products.
* Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments and incorporate them into our product design and development processes.
* Ensure products are designed and developed to meet regulatory standards and performance levels specified for safety, function and reliability.
* Produce full manufacturing specifications, including drawings and engineering BOMs.
* Ensure design solutions are within the financial and functional parameters.
* Perform any other duties appropriate to the role.
Qualifications
* Degree in mechanical engineering, BTEC Higher National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) or completed an engineering apprenticeship.
* Demonstrable knowledge of problem solving and the creation of sustainable design solutions.
* Experience in designing with plastic materials.
* Competent in using 3D CAD system (ideally SolidWorks).
* Competent in Microsoft packages.
* Competent in producing technical reports.
* Worked in a product design capacity.
* Experience/Knowledge of machined brass components/tolerancing.
* Experience/Knowledge of electrical consumer product sector.
