Hours: 6.25 hours per week (Monday - Friday 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm). Term Time Only: 38 weeks per year.
As a Midday Assistant in St George's Primary School, you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of St George’s Primary School mission statement of “Nurturing our community through opportunities, innovation and love”. We are seeking a dedicated professional who is passionate about our values and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our pupils.
Responsibilities
As a Midday Assistant, you will be responsible for:
* Supervising and escorting children to dining and play areas
* Maintaining and demonstrating good standards of table manners and eating habits
* Helping prepare and serve refreshments, following health and safety guidelines
* Promoting good behaviour and handling conflicts or incidents in line with school behaviour policies
* Administering first aid, as appropriate
* Reporting & recording incidents, accidents, and any issues concerning discipline or safety on our School MIS and to the Senior Midday Supervisor, as appropriate.
* Collaborating with teachers and other staff to support children's welfare and safety.
