To support the growth of this programme, we are providing Level 1 qualifications to anyone interested in becoming a Qualified Gymnastics Coach. As part of this role, we will be providing you with all the skills and knowledge you need and will enroll you on a Level 1 IGA Gymnastics course. We will also support your career with a tailored development plan that could include a fast track to become a Level 2 Gymnastics Coach. \n\nWhat is the job of a Gymnastics Coach?\n\nAs qualified gymnastic coaches, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality sessions, ensuring a positive and safe experience for every participant.
You will help shape the development of gymnastics within Lampton Leisure, while supporting the growth of your team through mentoring and coaching support.\n\nYou will:\n\nDeliver structured, engaging, and safe sessions across Parent & Child, Pre-School, and Recreational age groups. \nInstruct gymnasts on proper techniques, form, and routines.\nProvide constructive feedback to help gymnasts improve their skills.\nHelp plan, organise, and review lesson content to meet badge framework and session goals. \nHelp with equipment set-up, session briefings, and ensure safe use of apparatus \nMaintain high standards in safeguarding, health & safety, and inclusive practice Liaise with parents and carers to support participant progress and feedback. \n\nWhat are we looking for?\n\nYou don’t need any prior qualifications to apply, as you will be supported throughout your training but a passion for gymnastics is a must! People will describe you as friendly, empathetic and patient. You will have a passion for creating a fun and safe environment for all our gymnasts and will greet everyone with a smile.
