A day in the life of a Murphy Stakeholder Advisor
Support stakeholder analysis to ensure stakeholder drivers, requirements and influences are known and taken into account throughout a project
Support the development of a Stakeholder Engagement Plan for each project, that aligns with the Stakeholder Engagement Strategy, with support from the Project Manager and Stakeholder Manager
Work closely with the Project Manager, to support all engagement with stakeholders including the client, local authorities, statutory and non-statutory bodies (including environment & technical organisations), industry & business, land & property, communities and other parties to establish strong working relationships
Be a point of contact for all stakeholders for problem solving and communication between Murphy and clients
Support any third party consultant engaged by either Murphy or our client to ensure a joined up approach to stakeholder management and/or public relations
Support the application of all relevant consents and approvals
Undertake stakeholder mapping and prepare communications to stakeholders and respond to stakeholder enquiries
Work collaboratively with other members of the project team, providing briefings and support to technical teams for meetings with stakeholders
Attend stakeholder meetings with technical team members and ensure feedback of stakeholder responses and requests to technical teams are responded to within agreed timescales
Ensure an accurate audit trail is maintained for all stakeholder engagement and all contact/activities are recorded on stakeholder database
Report progress and updates on a weekly basis
Attend Stakeholder and Customer meetings both internal and external
Provide input to the development of tenders as required
Lead projects on the adherence to our Social Value Development Plan by over seeing their initiatives and ensure targets are met;
With the support of others, identify opportunities to increase the number of employee’s taking volunteer days in cooperation and alignment to client and company targets.

Proven track record of building relationships with external and internal stakeholders
Experience working on water based projects is desirable
High attention to detail with a right first time ethos
Motivated, organised and diligent
Full clean driving license
Flexibility to travel to multiple site locations with overnight stays
Computer literacy in Microsoft, Office applications etc
