Details:
Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 DOE
Location: Hybrid working, with regular visits to sites near both North Bristol and Herefordshire.
Security Clearance: Must be eligible for DV clearance
About the role
Working with numerous disparate teams across our customer community to enable their cross-domain use cases, you will need to manage diverse priorities and stakeholders to achieve their business outcomes; in some cases, providing thought leadership to guide the customer toward value-added design choices. This involves analysing their requirements and configuring the cross-domain platform accordingly. Once configured, it may be necessary to work with the teams to debug and resolve any issues and further refine the setup. It is important for the successful applicant to be happy engaging with stakeholders with varying seniority and technical understanding.
Responsibilities
* Become the primary customer point of contact for scoping and onboarding new business solutions; understanding and documenting customer use-cases and advising on the best components of the software system to use.
* Work closely with the TSL Technical Architects to translate use cases and high-level technical designs into scoped backlogs of work for prioritisation.
* Work closely with the TSL Service Management team to ensure controlled service transition with appropriate levels of governance.
* Manage the integration of customers’ systems with the cross-domain platform, from initial contact to go-live.
* Work with the Service Management team to manage the lifecycle of customer integrations, retiring integrations when no longer required
* Writing and maintaining technical and business documentation
* Liaising with the development team to resolve technical issues with the system
* Suggesting process improvements to the implementation process
* Advising the development team on possible feature enhancements
Key Skills
* Communicating with technical and business stakeholders
* Understanding of networking and software architectures
* Understanding of structured text formats: JSON, XML, CSV
* Understanding of synchronous and asynchronous architectures
Desirable Skills
* Exposure to programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, Go
* Familiarity with API definitions: Swagger / Open API 3
* Familiarisation with shell scripting
* Experience with CloudFormation templates
* Familiar with AWS administration
* Technical authorship
