Role: RAIL ENGINEER Salary: £30,000 - £52,000 per annum + plus benefits (Permanent) Location: London Ref: MAR619 Our client is further developing their capacity to deliver a varied portfolio of civil engineering projects and are seeking a Chartered or Incorporated Civil Engineer. The candidate should have a positive and practical approach to the challenges of civil engineering to join the company as a Rail Engineer. Their portfolio of work includes a variety of projects including road and rail bridges, coastal defences, flood prevention schemes, marinas and large-scale UK wide infrastructure projects. The role requires someone who can take responsibility for their own work and is prepared to apply themselves to a range of projects drawing on their own experiences and support from the team. Responsibilities for this Rail Engineer role: * Prepare calculations and documentation for engineering projects. * Liaise with other members of the design team to achieve a co-ordinated design. * Undertake analysis and design using a range of software packages including finite element analysis such as LUSAS or Midas. * Develop design and co-ordination skills to progress as an Engineer. * Undertake client relationship management. * Input to fee proposals and bidding opportunities.
