Job Description
As the Operations Manager, you will oversee our team of Project Managers and ensure delivery of Low and Medium Voltage switchgear projects across the country. You will hold ultimate accountability for installation, testing, commissioning, and related services required by each project.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct leadership and mentorship to the Project Management team.
* Review and optimise project programs and schedules.
* Conduct frequent site visits nationwide.
* Act as senior point of contact for clients.
* Lead problem solving during technical or logistical challenges.
* Monitor project budgets and implement corrective actions.
* Manage deployment of internal labour, equipment, and subcontractors.
* Ensure all projects comply with HSE regulations.
* Oversee commissioning to guarantee installations meet technical standards.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven track record in operations or senior project management within Electrical Engineering (LV/MV switchgear).
* Strong understanding of power distribution systems and the full project lifecycle.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to maintain composure under pressure and manage crises.
* Willingness to travel nationwide.
* Extensive experience managing project‑oriented Electrical Engineering operations.
