An exciting has arisen for an Assistant Parts Manager to join one of the largest Jaguar Land Rover Trade Hubs in the country. This is a key role within a high-volume, fast-paced operation, offering excellent career progression within a prestigious brand.
The Role
Working closely with the Parts Manager, you will help oversee the day-to-day running of the parts department, supporting both retail and trade customers while ensuring exceptional levels of service, accuracy, and efficiency.
What does the role of Assistant Parts Manager involve?
* Support the management and development of a busy parts team
* Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory accuracy
* Maintain excellent relationships with trade and internal customers
* Ensure departmental KPIs and manufacturer standards are met
* Help drive efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction
* Provide leadership and cover in the absence of the Parts Manager
What do you need to succeed as a Assistant Parts Manager?
* Previous experience within an automotive parts department is essential
* Supervisory or assistant management experience is highly desirable
* Strong organisational and leadership skills
* Confident using parts systems and manufacturer processes (JLR experience advantageous but not essential)
* A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong customer focus
