Job Title: Female Support Worker

Pay rate: £13.76 Per Hour, pay to increase after a probationary period
Job Type: Temp - Perm, Part time
Shift and Schedule: 18 hrs total per week - Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays (10am-4pm)

Priority Healthcare are excited to present this brand-new opportunity for a Support Worker in the Bradford area, this role involves lots of long walks so a high fitness level is required as this will include 75K-100K steps over 3 shifts!
Our client is a female who lives with a brain injury and would like to improve her health and confidence, so being physically fit is a must. She is looking for someone cheerful and confident to accompany her outdoors for most of the day on long walks in the country. The client attends a weekly horse-riding lesson where you will be required to observe her performance and provide feedback.
You will be part of a rehabilitation team so enthusiasm a must. You will alsoget supervision from a physiotherapist and neuropsychologist. You must have first aid training and be confident in its application.

Successful Applicant:
Must hold a full and valid UK driving license and have their own car to use whilst on shift.
Must have a minimum of 12 months complex care experience within the UK
Must be comfortable walking long distances with a high level of fitness
Must be comfortable working around horses with no allergies
