Customer Moves Advisor Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne Salary: £24,000 basic, increasing to £26,000 with role progression, plus up to £6,000 commission Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 09:00–17:30, Monday to Friday Annual Leave: 29 days including bank holidays, increasing to 31 days after 1 year of service About the Role We are seeking a Customer Moves Advisor to join our Customer Moves Team in Newcastle. In this role, you will support customers who are relocating, ensuring a smooth transition of their security system to their new premises, while identifying opportunities to grow our customer base through referrals and service excellence. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound and outbound calls with customers who are moving, guiding them through the process of transferring their security system to their new premises. Engage with customers to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions that maintain or enhance their service experience. Contact referred potential customers to explain the benefits of Verisure and arrange a transfer of ownership. Resolve customer queries with empathy and professionalism, ensuring a positive experience. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service continuity and customer satisfaction. Work effectively in a fast-paced call centre environment, ideally with experience in customer service, retention, or upselling. What We’re Looking For Previous experience in a call centre or customer-facing role. A customer-first mindset with empathy and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills. Ability to multitask while maintaining high service standards with attention to detail. Team-oriented with a proactive, commercial mindset. Comfortable working with performance targets and KPIs. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general computer skills. Adaptable to change and open to learning.
