We’re Hiring: Risk & Compliance Officer

Dalkia UK is looking for a Risk & Compliance Officer to join our Legal, Risk & Compliance function - part of a large, established international group.

The Opportunity
In this role, you’ll gain real breadth and ownership across risk and compliance activities from GDPR and insurance claims to enterprise risk and ethics.
You’ll work closely with experienced specialists and engage with stakeholders across the business, helping ensure Dalkia operates to the highest professional and regulatory standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Managing Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) – data capture, redaction and response
* Supporting responses to data breaches and ensuring UK GDPR compliance
* Administering insurance claims – notification, investigation and evidence collation
* Developing and maintaining risk registers (enterprise, fraud/corruption, modern slavery)
* Supporting compliance activities – conflicts of interest, gifts & hospitality, ethics training
* Assisting with internal investigations into alleged policy breaches
* Maintaining the Legal, Risk & Compliance SharePoint site
* Supporting policy development, internal communications and training
* Reporting on internal controls to our parent company in France
* Ensuring compliance with EDF and Dalkia standards
What We’re Looking For
Experience in two or more of the following areas would be beneficial:
* Insurance
* GDPR & data protection (including DSARs, DPIAs)
* Risk management
* Internal control & compliance
You’ll also bring:
* Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
* Analytical and evaluation capability
* Ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload
* SharePoint experience (desirable)
