A local, well-established organisation is seeking a Junior Account Executive to join a collaborative and supportive team. The Role
As a Junior Account Executive, you will manage a portfolio of client accounts, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring customers achieve maximum value from the organisation’s products and services. You will play a key role in onboarding new customers, identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts, and collaborating internally to deliver a high-quality customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and manage relationships across multiple customer accounts, developing a deep understanding of client needs
* Identify and develop new commercial opportunities within existing accounts
* Negotiate contracts and product opportunities that deliver mutual value
* Represent the organisation at customer meetings, events, conferences, and exhibitions
* Onboard new customers and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation
* Provide ongoing product and account support, resolving issues efficiently in collaboration with colleagues
* Monitor, analyse, and report on account performance and business activity
* Share knowledge and best practice with colleagues, supporting junior team members where appropriate
* Develop strong market and industry knowledge to anticipate customer needs and future opportunities
* Work closely with product, engineering, and other teams to support new product launches and updates
Experience & Qualifications
Essential:
* At least 1 year’s experience in a customer-facing or account management role
* Experience managing multiple B2B relationships in a commercial or target-driven environment
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
* Ability to self-learn and adapt quickly
* Confident communicator, both face-to-face and virtually
Education:
* Degree in a business or IT-related field (2:1 or equivalent preferred), or relevant industry experience
* Strong academic background preferred but not essential
Desirable:
* Experience in technology, e-commerce, fintech, financial services, or similar environments
* An understanding of web or software development concepts
* Experience using CRM systems and/or analytics tools
