Senior Manager, Customs Brokerage, Amazon Customs & Trade

Key job responsibilities
1. Develop operational and execution strategies for Customs Brokerage activities across the EU and UK.
2. Lead strategically important initiatives such as planning, automation, and optimization, working cross-functionally to identify opportunities.
3. Create and refine metrics to measure performance, identify defects and trends, and ensure high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective operations.
4. Standardize operational procedures by partnering with operations and technology teams to build repeatable and reliable processes, increasing consistency and performance.
5. Lead operational excellence programs, linking policies, procedures, controls, monitoring, and reporting to compliance and performance improvements.
6. Monitor and anticipate regulatory changes, supply chain evolution, and innovative solutions to proactively remove barriers.
7. Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance, collaborating with technology, legal, and other stakeholders.
8. Communicate effectively at all organizational levels and across geographies, demonstrating collaboration and leadership.
Basic qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree
* Leadership experience managing large teams (50+ members)
* Extensive experience in transportation management, customs brokerage, and origin consolidation
* Proven track record managing international supplier product flows into fulfillment/distribution networks
* Strong process management experience
Preferred qualifications
* MBA/MS in supply chain or related field
* Experience launching and scaling startups
* Proven ability to drive large-scale continuous improvements cross-functionally
* Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting, capacity planning, and metrics analysis
