Your new firmyou will be working with a reputable and well established firm of chartered accountants based in St Helens. This general practice offer a range of services to their broad client base, inclusive of Accounts and Tax preparation, Payroll and Bookkeeping. Following a year or more of sustained growth they are now looking to appoint an experienced Accounting professional to the team to expand their offering.Your new roleAs an Accounts professional within this firm you will be working with a range of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Depending on your experience you will either manage your own portfolio of c.50 clients or work to a Senior who will delegate work. If you come in at the Senior level you will review the bookkeeping work and more basic statutory accounts whilst preparing more complex accounts for your client portfolio. Should you come in at the Semi Senior level you will prepare statutory accounts through to review stage. Both corporation tax and Personal tax preparation will be a part of this role as will VAT preparation and submission. What you'll need to succeedIn order to undertake this role you must have worked within a practice for at least 3 years recently and have experience in the above mentioned areas.
