About the Role Are you interested in Geotechnical ground investigation for construction? This is your opportunity to excel as a Geologist, playing a key role in delivering ground investigation services that support critical infrastructure projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, the team is expanding and looking to bring in a reliable, flexible, and driven Geologist. You'll work across a wide variety of projects, contributing both in the field and in reporting. This role offers great exposure, variety, and progression potential for someone looking to build a technical career in geotechnics. Key Responsibilities Plan, supervise, and programme ground investigation projects across the UK Prepare Health & Safety documentation prior to and during site works Promote and ensure safe working environments for all site operatives Log soil and rock in accordance with BS5930:2015A1:2020 and project specifications Apply knowledge of ground investigation techniques across diverse site conditions Coordinate effectively with colleagues, clients, and contractors Work proactively in the field and contribute to reporting and interpretation Requirements Degree-qualified in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or similar discipline Full UK driving licence Strong fieldwork capability and willingness to travel for UK-wide projects Good understanding of GI methods and British Standards Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative site team What’s in It for You Competitive salary 25 days holiday plus option to buy more Enhanced pension and benefits package Electric vehicle scheme (where applicable) Access to employee wellbeing and support programmes Structured CPD and support toward Chartership (e.g., CGeol, RoGEP) A career pathway that includes both technical and leadership development
