The Vacancy
Group Services Director
Salary: £73,346 - £86,290 per annum (Pay changes pending)
Working Pattern: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday – Permanent
Location: Can be based in any of our offices across Argyll & Bute, including hybrid working options.
Role Overview
A unique opportunity to join a leading non-profit organization as the Group Services Director. The role provides strategic and operational leadership across all Group Services functions, including Finance, Organisational Development, IT, Transformation, Business Improvement, and Corporate Support Services. Responsibilities include managing financial activities, developing financial strategies, and overseeing the preparation of annual accounts. This is an exciting chance to contribute to the launch of our transformation plan and shape the future of ACHA.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Group’s Business Transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Champion a positive work culture and ensure policies align with organizational values.
* Implement financial and governance controls supported by performance targets.
* Lead and develop teams supporting transformation projects, process reviews, and data insights.
Candidate Requirements
* Degree in a relevant finance discipline.
* Membership of a professional accountancy body.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in senior service leadership roles.
* Extensive senior accountancy experience and proven strategic planning skills.
* Experience in developing and managing annual budgets.
