Leonardo UK has an excellent new opportunity for a Joint Avionics Service (JAS) Data Support Analyst based at RAF Coningsby, Lincolnshire. The role involves supporting the Typhoon Fast Jet within a highly skilled team in the Customer Support and Services Solutions (CS3) line of business. You will be responsible for back-office operational technical support for TyTAN JAS and report directly to the Service Delivery Manager for TyTAN JAS.

What you’ll do as JAS Data Support Analyst:
1. Retrieve, structure, and analyze operational, engineering, and logistics data to monitor and optimize spares and repairs chain performance.
2. Create and maintain interactive dashboards.
3. Provide data analysis to Service Delivery and Project Engineering teams for performance monitoring and decision-making.
4. Liaise with logistics, field engineers, and QA departments.
5. Collaborate with our JAS Partner, BAES, to maintain accurate in-service support data.
6. Support future bid activities for JAS Contracts.
7. Review defects and provide analysis using support data.
8. Assist the JAS team in utilizing dashboards and data analysis techniques for data-driven decisions.
9. Work with the CS3 Digital team to define requirements for tool development and support verification.
10. Establish support strategies and conduct modeling with internal and external stakeholders, considering current and future contracts.
11. Contribute to continuous process and procedural improvements to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
We would like to hear from you if you have:
* A degree in engineering or science or equivalent experience.
* Experience applying Supportability engineering principles and standards.
* Knowledge of logistics and engineering activities supporting complex Defence or Aerospace products.
* Experience working with Engineering Project Managers and IPTs.
* Skills in data gathering, analysis, and forecasting.
* Technical competence in creating clear data visualizations.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Familiarity with Power BI, Power Apps, and data analysis tools.
* Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
* Strong collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders.
* Self-motivation and problem-solving aptitude.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and adaptability.
Additional information:
* The role is primarily onsite at RAF Coningsby, with potential for flexible working arrangements.
* Occasional travel within the UK and abroad may be required.
